Product Introduction:
The motorized IRIS damper valve is an ideal air flow regulator and measuring device for circular ducts, the IRIS damper valve ensures a perfect accordance between the The display scale on the valve body corresponds to the valve opening.
The motor will receive a signal from the control room and vary the air supply accordingly.
The maximum/minimum opening position can be adjusted manually using the button in the control room.
Once set, the IRIS damper valve will return to automatic operation.
Automatic control function introduction
The user can connect the pressure test points on both sides of the valve to the pressure gauge to detect the change value of the pressure.
When the valve opening changes, the pressure value also changes.
When the user needs to adjust the air flow, the valve opening can be adjusted at any time by the electric actuator, and observe the value of the pressure gauge, refer to the flow-pressure curve table(In the instruction book), to get the air flow value that the user needs.

Design & Material:
The damper is manufactured from galvanized steel sheet,stainless steel sheet and is fitted with a rubber seal tested for air tightness.
Damper Mounting:
The damper must be installed in accordance with the distances required to minimize air flow deviation(See the manual for detailed description). IRIS enables the taking of precise air flow measurements at all points including points close to duct deviations such as T junctions and bends and points in front of other supply air devices,.

Construction
The IRIS is composed of regulation plates, regulating nut or handle (size 80) and regulation scale plus manometer connections and casing.
The casing and regulation plates are made of hot galvanized steel (standard IRIS) or acid-proof steel AISI 316 L (IRIS-S), other components of plastic. The joining collars are supplied with rubber sealing gasket.
Use
IRIS is an ideal solution for the exact and quick air flow measuring and regulation.Because of its acid proof material, the IRIS-S is best suited for premises, where acid proof ducts are used.
Installation
The IRIS damper is secured to the ducting with rivets. For vertical mounting ensure the weight of the interconnecting duct work is fully supported.Refer to page 5 for recommended safety distances
